I've already completed the first 70 kilometres and hope that no problems will occur.
The machine is really perfect. Simple assembly, very high quality. Only the description (especially the explanation of the fitness programs) could be more detailed and clearer! The enclosed description is very meagre!
von Mischwa am 11/11/2013Quick and uncomplicated delivery. Takes about 30 minutes to set up. It's a little more pricey than comparable rowing machines, but the money is well invested. You don't have to be an expert to see that this is a quality product. I'm happy I decided to buy this one... I can only recommend it!

von Mad am 11/09/2013It took 4 days from the online order to the delivery. The shipping company is very friendly, brought the machine into the apartment and got rid of the pallet. The machine was set up within 45 minutes (provided one isn't born with two left hands). The machine itself: fantastic quality (which was to be expected for that price), runs very quietly. The program part of the computer is nicely set up; the English labelling doesn't bother me. Highly recommendable! This purchase was well worth it. Now I just have to wait for my muscle pain to disappear :)

von MikeB am 30/07/2013Some of what I am writing might be "whining at a high level", but we're not really taking about the "DIY class" here.
The instructions for assembly are not perfect. For example, the instruction manual mentions an Allen wrench, when in fact a regular hexagon screw is meant. As far as I could tell, there are absolutely no instructions about how to place the battery into the transmitter in the drawbar. The battery and the two screws for the battery lid are packed in a tiny wrapper and it's easy to throw them in the bin if you're not paying attention. All in all, we were able to assemble it quite quickly and easily, because it isn't really that complicated to start with.
The labels on the computer are in English only. No problem for me, but not ideal for everybody. Surely it must be possible to enclose an adhesive label in German at that price. In my opinion the operation of the computer is not 100% intuitive, even though I'm usually pretty good at those things. And for people who might not understand English that well it can be quite difficult without the instruction manual. Even with the instruction manual some things are still unclear. For example, I still haven't been able to figure out how to change the user immediately after exercising without restarting the computer again (by pulling the plug out of the socket).
The machine is pretty nicely manufactured. I didn't notice any sharp edges, loose plastic bits or other things. Even the supplied tools are usable to a certain extent, although it's even easier with "real" tools. All of the parts have been constructed accurately and give quite a solid impression. The saddle has a very comfortable padding and runs smoothly along the rail. The seat height is very good. It's very easy to adjust the "foot straps" to the size of the shoes, but they don't really give a very solid impression. We'll have to wait and see how long they last. The straps to adjust the width of the feet don't hold very well and sometimes become a little loose. I'm sure there are better ways of doing this. The handle is very comfortable and the feeling one has when pulling is very good. The rail is nice and long and provides for a large movement cycle. The distance to the front to where the belt enters the flywheel could be a little longer so that one can bend forward even further if necessary. For "normal" rowing the distance is really enough, but sometimes I like to move my back much further forward than the usual "11 to 1 o'clock" position. One can definitely hear operating sounds but it's absolutely fine, and the resistance settings are great.
As a user I would purchase this device again any time; as a manufacturer I would improve a few things here and there.
